A versatile musician and
well-rounded scholar, Lidia Chang double majored in Flute Performance and Music
History at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She went on to earn a
Master's in Historical Performance on the Baroque flute at McGill University's
Schulich School of Music. Lidia works as a freelance musician and has the
pleasure of performing internationally as a soloist and with a number of period
instrument ensembles including Ensemble Ad Libitum, Arcadia Players, and
Ensemble Musica Humana, of which she is a founding member.
Dr. Matthew McConnell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music
from Bennington College, a Master’s degree in Musical Composition from the
New England Conservatory of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the
same institution. He is a member of ASCAP and the American Guild of Organists.
Dr. McConnell is the Minister of Music at the First Baptist Church
of North Adams, and is the current Director of Choral Instruction at St.
Stanislaus-Kostka Private School in Adams, MA. Dr. McConnell's choral music
publisher is E.C. Schirmer, and he is a contributor to the Lorenz
